Following several years of dedicated work by the Major Morgan / Hart's Battery SCV Camp and other descendants of families who now lie in eternal rest at Gin Branch, the cemetery has now been transformed from a thickly-wooded "wilderness" in which it was hard to even see the headstones, to a stately condition which may now be easily maintained with lawn mowers and string trimmers.
On March 31st, 2007, the Major Morgan / Hart's Battery SCV Camp held a dedication ceremony to honor the Confederate Veterans buried at Gin Branch, and to express their appreciation for the help they have received from everyone in returning this glorious old cemetery to a condition of which we can all be proud.
