Some Of My Ancestors
This is a photo of my Great-Great Grandfather, James E. Cooper. He proudly served the Confederacy during the War For Southern Independence in the 3rd South Carolina Infantry, Company E.
Here's a later picture taken with my Grandfather, Reuben, in it. He's the one on the far left wearing the bib-overalls.
This is a photo of my Father's family taken around 1900 in Aiken/Orangeburg County, South Carolina. My Great-Grandfather, Martin Jackson Yon, is seated in the center. Martin was another of my Confederate Veteran ancestors who served in the 22nd Regiment of the South Carolina Volunteers, Company I. My Grandfather, Reuben, is the youngest boy on the back row.
